Welcome! My husband, Mike, and I live in Round Rock, TX, just 15 miles from downtown Austin. I have three amazing kids and have been married for 40 years. I was born in South Africa and came to the USA when I was 18 with the honor of becoming a citizen here in July of 21 (took me 40 years but I did it!). We have been blessed with three wonderful children. Two sons-in-law, Jeremy, who is married to our oldest daughter, Kristen, and Nate who is married to Sarah. Jeremy and Kristen have two children, August and Caleb. Nate and Sarah have a daughter, Ruthann, with another little one on the way. Sarah is our youngest child and Daniel our oldest. I love being a mom, wife, and Nana! My husband and I pastor a church in Pflugerville and even though knowing all the happenings and events at TOLC, this is my personal blog, so the stuff I share here doesn’t necessarily reflect the views or opinions of TOLC or its staff. Yes, I was born in S.A. Moved over here to study and ended up staying 🙂 I have been here since 1980 and since married and now living in Texas!!
Where are you in S.A. I have one sister in Randburg and another in Pinetown, Natal.
